Pro Kabaddi League Season 9: In the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 held at Sri Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru, UP Yoddha and Jaipur Pink Panthers played a roller coaster competition in the third match of Pro Kabaddi League on Friday. The two sides kept amassing points against each other and were head to head throughout the match, but the Warriors of the UP team kept their spirits up throughout the match to beat the Panthers 34-32 in the end.
UP Yoddha took a 6-4 lead from the very beginning, in which raiders Rohit Tomar and Surendra Gill quickly picked up points for their team. However, the team’s lead raider Arjun Deshwal turned the tide with some brilliant raids to help Jaipur Pink Panthers 8-6 till the 12th minute of the match.
But soon thereafter, Jaipur all-outed the team of UP Yoddha and extended their lead to 12-7. UP Yoddha’s Surendra Gill made some successful raids for the team but Panthers took a 15-12 lead at the end of the first half.

In Pro Kabaddi League, Gill’s brilliant raid and Sumit’s brilliant tackle at the start of the second half tied both the teams with their scores 15-15. Soon after, Pink Panthers raider Nitesh Kumar faced Devank to help the Yoddha team all-out and take the lead at 18-16.
Last season’s star raider Pradeep Narwal in PKL also took his game in a different direction in the second half as UP Yoddha quickly extended their lead to 21-16 in the 27th minute of the match.

Pink Panthers rising raider V Ajit Kumar single-handedly brought the Panthers back into the game with a Super Raid, but soon after, UP Yoddha raider Pradeep’s brave raid took UP 25-20 once again. A single lead of five points on the score of 5 points propelled the team forward.
For Panthers, Bhavani Rajput kept the Panthers in the game by hitting a super raid in the 32nd minute. UP Yoddha managed to hold the lead 28-24 in the 36th minute till the end, although they had only two players on the mat. But, after some time, Pink Panthers executed an all-out to catch the UP Yoddhas.
Although Pink Panthers and UP Yoddha fought head-to-head for victory in the final few minutes of the match, raiders Surendra Gill and Pradeep Narwal gave their team UP Yoddha their first win of the season in the final stages of the game. Helped enough like a trump card to help.
